Privacy Policy

Webi Canada ("we", "us") is a web design and marketing studio in Toronto, Ontario. This page explains what personal information we collect when you visit webicanada.com, fill in one of our forms (on this website or in a Facebook or Instagram ad), or contact us, and what we do with it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Callback forms on this website: your name and phone number, and which form you used.
- Facebook and Instagram lead forms: when you tap our ad and submit the form, Meta sends us the details you confirm, such as your name, phone number, email, business name, your website address and your answers to our questions.
- When you call, WhatsApp or email us: your contact details and whatever you choose to tell us about your business.
- Basic server logs: our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the website secure and running.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising pixels.
How we use it
- To call or message you back about your request, prepare a quote or website audit, and answer your questions.
- To deliver and support the work if you become a client, including invoices and records the law requires us to keep.
We only contact you about what you asked for. We will not add you to a newsletter or send promotional messages without your consent, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your information. We only share it with service providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Netlify hosts this website and receives website form submissions.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp) runs our ads, lead forms and WhatsApp chats. Meta's own privacy policy covers what Meta does with your data.
- Our email and phone providers, which carry our messages and calls.
Some of these providers store data outside Canada, mainly in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. We may also disclose information if Canadian law requires it.
How long we keep it
If you do not become a client, we delete your enquiry within 24 months of our last contact. For clients, we keep project and billing records for as long as the work continues and then for as long as Canadian tax law requires (generally six years).
How we protect it
Our website runs only over secure HTTPS. Access to enquiries and client information is limited to the two founders, using accounts protected with strong passwords and two-step verification where available.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you,
- correct it,
- stop contacting you, or delete it.
Email info@webicanada.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
